I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone for their well wishes!! You don't know how very much I appreciate your calls, emails and cards. For those of you that haven't heard, I had a bit of a traumatic experience last week... so I want to thank each and every one of you. While we did manage to get all internet orders out on time, we did close the shop for a few days... but we're back open so stop by and say hello if you are in the area!!

A Little Birdie Told Me...
Anyway, this little birdie (aka Beauty Cafe Customer) works for the TSA and she ordered the Longcils Cake Mascara from me today for an upcoming trip that she is having. Since I had her where I wanted her on the phone (HA HA) I asked her if it was in fact true that we can take Cake Mascara in carry-on luggage... and yes folks we can. Also, while you cannot take fragrances on board you can take the fragranced towelettes... Now good luck in finding those. If anyone knows where to find some... let me know and anyone out there very creative, is there a way to make these fragranced towelettes by hand with our favorite fragrances??? I am sure there is a fortune to be made in this somewhere!!

New Arrival at the Beauty Cafe
One of our favorite cosmetic lines at Beauty Cafe has to be Bella Il Fiore. Jennifer, the founder and creator of Bella Il Fiore just knows how to make cosmetics fun!!
We recently received several new items from the collection!! Our favorites have to be the Eye Essential Kit and the Kit Kat House. The Eye Essential Kit, is an absolute must-have for the girl on the go... a travel box with a mirror and inside is everything you need for touch ups!! The Kit Kat House is a collection of make-up must have's in pink. Includes: Moisturizing Mint Lip Gloss, Creme Blush Cheek Stick, Roller Ball Eye Shadow, Shimmer Powder Puff.
We have a corner of the shop just dedicated to the Bella il Fiore line... complete with a pink chair so you can lounge while playing with the line!!

Free Shipping over 50.00 til end of August...
It's that time of year again... summer is ending (will someone PLEASE tell the weather God's please) and school is about to start again!! Actually, Blondie is actually starting her second week back!!
So... we know how tough it is getting the kids back in school, buying new school clothes, school supplies etc... and well then of course there still is the gas prices. Sigh... so I decided to lower our shipping charges at least until the end of August. Let's call it a trial run and see how it goes, maybe ya'll can convince me to keep this offer going ;-) So until the end of August we will offer Free USPS Priority Mail Shipping in the US only on all orders over $50.00.
Have a great week ahead and could someone please send some cooler weather this way.. Thanks for the rain though... had a nice rain storm yesterday!! Anything helps!!

In the Raw?
On it's way to the Beauty Cafe a fun new and very exciting line, In The Raw!!
First off, I have to admit I am spoiled rotten being the owner of Beauty Cafe, but every now and then I fall in love with a product that I don't carry. Yes, I swear it happens!! One of my favorite products of all time was Lemongrass Sage from Bath and Body Works. I was in absolute tears the day I found out they had discontinued it. So I did what any true product junkie would do in a state of emergency, I went from one store to another and bought up the remaining stock. LOL... I had customers even picking it up for me if they found it in stores. Well my supply finally ran dry... and then our beloved rep Amber came by the shop with a new line she was reping, In The Raw!!! It was love at first sight!! They had Lemongrass Sage and even BETTER than I remembered from BBW!! Oh my!!! The scrubs, the washes, the lotions and the candles... I am in heaven.
All of "In The Raw's" products are handmade. No animal testing has ever been conducted on the production of "In The Raw's" products and/or their ingredients. The presentation is so beautiful and the candles are soooo fragrant!! We're so excited to introduce In The Raw to you!!
